DEAFinitely, Inc.

DEAFinitely offers various levels of ASL instruction from basic to advanced, including classes on regular basis and one-class intensives.  Below are the various ASL classes we offer, all taught by Deaf instructors:

 

• DEAFinitely PERFORMANCE CREW: ASL classes are offered weekly to hearing youth ages 7-14 who have also registered for ASL-dance combination classes. Youth must commit to weekly basic ASL for 2-4 months leading up to joining the Performance crew which is held in an ASL-environment. 

 

• BASIC ASL INTENSIVES: These workshops are open to all ages, offering an intensive 2.5 hour long workshop of ASL. Classes are held periodically based on interest and registration.

 

• ADVANCED ASL INTENSIVES: These workshops are open to all ages, offering an intensive 2.5 hour long workshop of conversational ASL for those youth and/or families who are proficient in basic ASL. They are held periodically based on interest and registration.

 

• ASL FOR BUSINESSES: DEAFinitely can collaborate with an organization or business to customize their needs and interest for ASL. For example, DEAFinitely may provide monthly ASL instruction to staff of a non-profit for a set period of time or offer a one-time basic ASL class for a company during lunchtime or staff meeting. We can customize classes to fit the need and interest, and provide references from organizations who have received classes with us in the past.
